For all of you many brides choosing pink, fuchsia and coral colors for your weddings, here’s a tasteful way to continue the theme: Serve guests a rose wine during the festivities. And this thoughtful detail doesn’t even need to cost you more!
For an extra flush of pink without added cost, ask guests to toast your nuptials with glass flutes of rose champagne or pink sparkling cider. If you planned to include something bubbly, why not swap gold for pink? For a budget-friendly (and non-alcoholic) option, look to the widely available sparkling juices from Martinelli’s, for example, which come in several flavors/shades of pink, including the fiery Sparkling Apple-Pomegranate (photo at right).
To accompany a meal or hors d’oeuvres, there is a range of rose wines available, from delicate to spicy, to fit most budgets. Take a look at the rose wine picks online at Martha Stewart Weddings for ideas (some picks illustrated in photo above left).
For pink tablecloths and cloth napkins to coordinate with these rosy drinks, visit our Linens rental page. Look especially for Watermelon Crush and Fuchsia Solid, as well as Watermelon Solid and Coral Satin two new colors this season!
