April not only brings showers but also the Economic Development Association of Skagit County‘s annual Schmooze Fair at Van Zyverdan Bulb Warehouse, 12035 Higgins Airport Way, Burlington, WA.  Over 100 vendor booths fill this bulb warehouse for an evening of music, libations, and networking!  Tickets are $20 each and include great food and entertainment.  You’ll find many professionals to Schmingle with on the tradeshow floor.  “Keep calm Schmooze on.”

CAD and your event

Special events in tents can be challenging to design, as “How do you physically see space provided by a specific tent size?”  Unless you’re lucky enough to secure a venue with a long standing tent set up, you typically don’t get a chance to walk the site (interior) and get your head around what is possible in the space.  That is why Pacific Party Canopies offers CAD diagrams of potential tent(s) or even event space(s), in 2D and 3D, to help you see and create a floor plan as the event is being laid out.  We can do this via email in most cases, but I recommend a sit down meeting at our office to work out your specific plans.  Once we generate a plan, we can build an order based on designed floor plan.  It’s very helpful to see capacity, flow patterns and access points for guests and your event professionals alike.  Please visit our web site to see some examples.

Colored lights can help create a nice “ambiance” in any venue space, especially in a tent.  You can produce a multitude of potential colors with the latest in wireless, battery operated and programmable lights.  The Foundation light uses less power due to the use of LED’s (light emitting diodes).  These lights are able to be tied into a DMX output from your DJ to strobe and color change at variable speed or with the beat of the music.  Inquire with us about your event lighting needs.
